Title: Motorcycle Reviewer: drttoldman Anonymous
well this is the third thing that i have read by clorinda if that is her name Hmmmmmmmm!!! i wonder? also how come her name is not japanese anyway? things are getting curiouser and curiouser. i hope noone thinks this is a flame because i don't flame fiction when it's supposed to be entertainment i save that for political sites because i'm a flaming liberal and coservatives make me insane. my problem with motorcycle is it seems to me to miss the whole point of bikes . they are viceral thrilling dangerous and most of all about freedom and independance to most riders i think and especially to me. i don't mind the reference to a big tool but i just don't see the any character developement to support that for good or ill. this writing is ok but it is too short it lacks the resolution establish a point or some kernel of insight to give a sense of completion. i love short stories but i require character to care about or scene which somehow captivates me for any reason at all. this title attracted my attention but the story failed to do anything rewarding with it

Author's Response: I wonder what the second thing was?? And of course Clorinda's not my name, (it's Maid Marian's), and SHOULD my pseudonym be Japanese?rnrnFirst off, I didn't see your review as a flame, it made sense and it got its point across. And I get what you're saying. My point (badly conveyed, it seems) was that in the series, Sakaki's bike is rather scrawny and the type to have visible scractches all over; nevertheless, he loves it, despite it's incongruity with the Wild Hogs/Hairy Bikers image. Doujima sees him as a scrawny youth with a tough shell, albeit one that's transparent.rnrnBut, okay, that sort of fell flat on its face, so thank you for the tip and the critique, one of these days I'll rewrite this.
